Charles Lemuel Evans and (From back of photo:= Walter Evans's Grandmother Clayton.
Died about 1895. Buried south of Sciota, Illinois in
Spring creek cemetery.

Charles L Evans wrote that he thought she died in 1898. So he was only a year off, she died in 1899.

Name unknown--Boy-

An unknown Evans, a boy not too happy to be having his picture taken by the look on his face.

Cabinet card, including the back because it is pretty.

Another unknown Evans relation.

Another unknown, this looks to have been taken in the Cival War era.
But that is just a guess on my part.

Albert Evans and his wife.

Charles Lemuel Evans brother, Albert and his wife.

Albert Evans

Grandfather Charles L Evans brother, Albert Evans.

Uncle Lemuel and Aunt Ellen Evans-- Written by Walter Evans

Uncle Lemuel and Aunt Ellen Evans, this was written on the back of the photo by Walter Evans.
Walter was my Grandfather Charles, brother, I think.

This is what was written on the back.
Very confusing to me.

Joseph Whitman Evans

My Father, Joseph Whitman Evans picking dandelions at his home in Chetek Wisconsin.

Evans homestead... Lincoln Illinois

Lincoln, Illinois. Birthplace of Charles Lemuel Evans.
He was born in 1874.

Charles Lemuel Evans- Mother

This is a tintype. It has Mother written on the back, by Charles L. Evans. My Grandfather.
I don't know which is his mother.

Unknowns-- Evans, Illinois

Interesting picture, or at least I think so, since my name is Evans.
Don't know where it was taken, my guess Evans, Illinois.
The one woman, on far left,  looks kind of like my Dad's Aunt Pearl but that is just a guess on my part.

Unknown Ancestor..1

I love this photo. I have no idea what her name is.
This was in with all the other Evans family photos.

This is called a cabinet card. Including a shot of the back because it is so pretty.

Paternal Grandparents

This is a picure of my paternal Grandparents.
Myra Emily Simpson Evans and Charles Lemuel Evans.
With my Father's brother, Paul Eugene Evans and his sister Eva Marguerite Evans.
Both Paul and Eva died of Scarlett Fever at a young age, two days apart,
I believe not very long after this picture was taken.
